HYDERABAD: Munsiff XI won the Susai memorial football tournament, organised by Shastri Soccer Club, defeating Gowrishankar XI 2-1 in the final at the Trimulgherry Village Grounds here on Sunday. Mouzzam and Khaiser scored a goal apiece for Munsiff, while Aflred reduced the margin. Jhonson of Gowrishankar XI was adjudged ‘best player’ of the tournament. S. Satyanarayana, MP, gave away the prizes and P. Gowrishankar, president of Shastri Soccer Club, proposed the vote of thanks. Boxing meetOsmania University will organise the inter-collegiate boxing championship and selection trials on December 22 at the Lal Bahadur Stadium from 8.00 a.m. Call K.R.
