Navaz, Rogger scorch the track

Coimbatore: Navaz Sandhu and Dilip Rogger scored thumping wins in the MRF Racing Challenge at the Kari Motor Speedway in Chettipalayam, near Coimbatore, on Sunday.

Navaz, who clinched the Indian Open and the CC to weight categories hit the straights hard in the Indian Open category and Radha Selvaraj obliged her with some space upfront. And, once she took the lead there was no turning back. For Dilip, it was virtually a ‘one horse race’ in the Super Bikes category. Riding a Yamaha RX6, Dilip timed 1:07.924 for a new record at the circuit. Karandeep Sandhu kept Team MRF’s flag flying high in the Super 1600 class.
