Mehta’s team wins title

NEW DELHI: Pankaj Mehta’s team won the DGC-GPI bridge tournament beating Kaushik Hyderabad 52-34 VPs at the Delhi Gymkhana Club here on Sunday. The winner was richer by Rs. 1.25 lakh, while the runner-up settled for Rs. 80,000.

In the semifinals, Kaushik Hyderabad maintained its lead from Swiss league onwards to beat Khandelwals 57-47 VPs, while Pankaj Mehta beat C.V. Rao 73-66 VPs.
