Merger of public sector banks opposed

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Bank Award Employees’ Union at its joint zonal conference here on Sunday resolved to oppose merger of the public sector banks and FDI in these institutions. Members of the union working in the head office and Hyderabad zones, comprising Ranga Reddy and Medak districts, also adopted a resolution opposing outsourcing of bank jobs. —Special Correspondent
