Two arrested for murder
NEW DELHI: Two young men have been arrested by the North-East Delhi police in connection with the murder of a resident of Shahdara.
According to the police, Saurabh, a school van driver, had an altercation with one Sanjay on Friday and the former allegedly fired a shot at the latter from a country-made pistol. The bullet accidentally hit Sanjay’s friend Rahul who was mediating in the conflict. Rahul was declared brought dead at Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital. A case of murder was registered and Saurabh was arrested at Shahdara. Later Amit Kumar, who had allegedly supplied the pistol to Saurabh, was also arrested.
The pistol has allegedly been seized.
