Prithviraj Chavan leaves everyone guessing
Special Correspondent
Bangalore: AICC general secretary in charge of Karnataka, Prithviraj Chavan, on Sunday said there were several aspirants for the post of KPCC president, but he was non-committal on whether there would be a change in leadership.
Speaking to presspersons after a two-day consultation with senior leaders and party workers, Mr. Chavan said the election, manifesto, publicity, campaign and other important committees would be constituted.
Mr. Chavan ruled out projecting any leader as chief ministerial candidate before the elections.
He said the party was confident of providing a progressive, secular and stable government.
Mr. Chavan said that anyone who accepted the Congress leadership, its ideology and principles were welcome to join the party.
