BANGALORE: Two persons, including a housewife, died in as many road accidents reported from Yelahanka and Malleswaram traffic police limits on Sunday. Manjula (40), wife of Deen Dayal, died on the spot when a car hit the motorcycle on which she was riding pillion near Yelahanka bypass. Her husband, Deen Dayal, escaped with minor injuries. In the other accident, Srikar (34) died on the spot when a bus hit him on Sriramapuram 7th Main. He was said to be in an inebriated condition. The bus, had brought pilgrims back from Adi Parashakti Temple in Tamil Nadu, and was on its way back to the city, the police said. BurgledA gang of persons reportedly burgled the house of Narayanamma in Beniganahalli and made away with cash and gold ornaments, the police said. According to the Byapanahalli police, the incident occurred when Narayanamma had gone on pilgrimage to Tamil Nadu. She returned home on Saturday and found that her house had been broken into and the cash and the gold ornaments had gone missing, according to the police.
