VIJAYAWADA: To facilitate work on doubling of rail track between Guntur and Mangalagiri, the South Central Railway has diverted, partially cancelled and fully cancelled a few services for four days from Tuesday. Following is the list of trains diverted to run via Tenali and Vijayawada, without touching New Guntur, for undertaking non-inter-locking works: Chennai-Jammu Tawi Express (6031), Jammu Tawi-Chennai Express (6032), Chennai-Lucknow Express (6093), Lucknow-Chennai Express (6094), Kakinada Port-Chennai Express (6044) and Chennai-Kakinada Port Express (6043). The partially cancelled train services include Secunderabad-Guntur-Secunderabad Inter-city Express between Vijayawada and Guntur (2706/2705), Guntur-Repalle-Guntur passenger between Guntur and Tenali (D122/D129), Narsapur-Guntur-Narsapur passenger between Vijayawada and Guntur (482/481), Macherla-Bhimavaram passenger between Guntur and Vijayawada (418) and Narsapur- Guntur passenger between Vijayawada and Guntur (498). Similarly, Vijayawada-Guntur-Vijayawada passenger (M154/M159), Tenali-Guntur-Tenali passengers (M155/M158) and Vijayawada-Guntur-Vijayawada passengers (D121/D130) have been fully cancelled.
