Nag to start TV channels

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Film star, producer and now television content provider, Akkineni Nagarjuna has revealed plans to launch a TV music and news channel. His plans fall in line with his recent initiative in entering television production by launching a serial “Yuva”. Being an investor in MAA TV along with four of his friends, he expects to leverage his existing potential while starting the two new television channels.

“At first look, there seems to be enough space. But then, two news channels have launched recently. So we would like to wait a while”, he said on the sets of ‘Krishnarjuna’, produced by Manchu Mohan Babu. His latest film ‘Don’ will hit the screens on December 20. “As usual, I have given my best and the rest is up to the viewers. Right now, I am focussed on providing content for television,” he said.
