Vedike to hold protest march

BANGALORE: The Karnataka Komu Souharda Vedike has urged the Chikmagalur district administration to implement the court orders with regard to Bababudangiri and ban all programmes of the Sangh Parivar proposed to be held in Chikmagalur and Bababudangiri.

K.L. Ashok, State secretary of the vedike, told presspersons here on Monday that the Sangh Parivar planned to hold Shobha Yatra and other Datta Jayanti programmes this year too.

The intention behind these programmes was to create communal disharmony, he alleged.

Mr. Ashok said the vedike would hold ‘Janajagruti jathas’ in the district to expose the Sangh Parivar. A protest march would be held on December 19 in Chikmagalur, he said.
