Good response: School children waiting to enter the ’Red Ribbon Express’, the exhibition train for AIDS awareness, at Habeebganj railway station in Bhopal on Monday. BHOPAL: The Red Ribbon Express, the specially-designed seven-coach train to spread the message of HIV/AIDS prevention, arrived at Habibganj station here on Monday. Present at the station to receive the train were the State Minister for Health, Ajay Bishnoi, Finance Minister Raghavji, Saleena Singh, the Project Director of Madhya Pradesh State Aids Control Society, and a large number of young people, NCC cadets, and a Song and Drama Division troupe. The Health Minister described the Red Ribbon Express as a great initiative to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS. Ms. Saleena Singh said that the main aim of the train was to disseminate information and reduce the stigma attached to HIV/AIDS. The Finance Minister said the State would always be ready to release funds for women and children and more particularly for combating the problems of malnutrition, infant mortality and maternal mortality.
