Non-implementation of schemes regretted

KOLAR: Deputy Commissioner G. Ramachandra regretted the non-implementation of many schemes for the disabled because of the laxity of concerned authorities. He was speaking after inaugurating a function for the disabled here on Monday. Facilities should be provided to all the handicapped persons irrespective of their number, he said. Zilla panchayat president A.C. Nagarthnamma presided over the programme organised by Directorate of Welfare of Disabled and Senior Citizens and Women and Child Development Department. — Staff Correspondent
