3 killed in A.P. as bus hits lorry

NALGONDA: Three bus passengers, including a software engineer, were killed and 15 others sustained injuries in an accident on the outskirts of Vinjamooru of Chintapally mandal in the early hours of Monday.

The private bus, which was on its way to Hyderabad from Tenali, hit a lorry from behind resulting in the death of Sheik Jony Baba (28), a software engineer of Narsaraopet, and Poluji Koteswara Chary (25), a carpenter of Halia. Another injured person Daasari Veeranjaneyulu (25) of Dachepally died while being treated at the Government Hospital at Devarakonda, the local Sub-Inspector K. Sashank Reddy said. The police shifted six severely injured persons to various hospitals in Hyderabad.
