United Russia Party felicitated

NEW DELHI: The United Russia Party was felicitated at a function here over the weekend on its overwhelming victory in the recent parliamentary elections in Russia.

Acknowledging the initiative taken by the India-Russia Friendship Society in organising the function, Andrei A. Sorokin, Minister-Counsellor in the Embassy of the Russian Federation, said party-to-party relations and people-to-people contacts between the two countries had now acquired a new dimension.
