308 cases settled at SCR pension adalat

Establish data base of each employee, officials told
|
VIP visitor: H.K. Padhee, General Manager, South Central Railway, inspects the pension adalat at Rail Nilayam premises on Monday.
HYDERABAD: South Central Railway (SCR) officials on Monday settled 308 of the 312 cases received at the 22nd pension adalat and disbursed over Rs.12.84 lakh towards settlement of dues.
In tandem
SCR General Manager H. K. Padhee, who was the chief guest, advised the officials to establish complete data base of each employee and work in tandem with the banks to ensure there were no grievances of pensioners.
Referring to cases which went against the pensioners at the headquarters level, he wanted them to be reviewed at the divisional pension adalats for proper appreciation and justice. P. C. Kumar, Additional General Manager, and officials of the personnel department, M.C. Das, Member, Standing Committee of Voluntary Associations, Y. N. Sastry, president, All-India Retired Employees’ Federation, and Rangarajan, vice-president, All-India Retired Officers’ Federation, spoke.
