Exhibition opened

Bangalore: There are three huge apartments. One is named “Lake View”, the other is “Lake Spot” and the third “Lake Side”. A man looks at a small puddle and keeps wondering where the lake is. Journalist Rasheed Kappan comes out with a pun “better lake than never”. The six-day long exhibition at Alliance Francaise was inaugurated by theatre person Arundhati Nag on Monday. Mr. Kappan says graficatures is an attempt to mix new-world graphics with the wit-laced art of cartooning. The exhibition on the theme “dupli-city” features 40 contemporary works of Mr. Kappan.
