Staff Reporter

TIRUNELVELI: The Doctors’ Association for Social Equality has appealed to Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi to execute the assurance on allotment of all medical seats in the State to students only from Tamil Nadu.

In a memorandum to Minister for Local Administration M.K. Stalin on Monday, it said that while 15 per cent of MBBS seats was being surrendered to all-India pool, 50 per cent of the PG seats in MD and MS courses allocated to the Central consortium, denying those seats to eligible students from Tamil Nadu.
