Scrabble fest for schoolchildren

HYDERABAD: The Zygo Scrabble ’Clubs will be conducting the Eighth National Word Fest for schoolchildren from December 27 to December 30 at ‘The Royal Regency, 26/27 Poonamallee High Road, Chennai. Participating children have been shortlisted after holding city - specific tourneys at various cities.

Children have been divided into categories - up to sixth class in Group -1 & seventh class to 10th in Group -II. They will be tested in spelling, creative writing, fun poetry, language appreciation, Scrabble, comprehension and public speaking. Children desirous of wild card entries can contact V.R.
