NGO promotes AIDS awareness

NEW DELHI: International Awakening Centre, a non-government organisation, has been promoting AIDS awareness among 2,000 sex workers in the Capital’s red light area on G.B. Road and conducting HIV tests on them. From December 1 to 15, it distributed free condoms and treated over 800 cases of sexually transmitted diseases among sex workers.
