Minister all praise for health officials

Rampachodavaram: Minister for Tribal Welfare Redyanayak has all praise for health officials working in Rampachodavaram ITDA.

During a review meeting on health, education and engineering works here on Tuesday, the Minister wrapped up the Agency engineering department for its work being done at a snail’s pace. He said the State Government was trying to get Rs.1857 crores of RIAD funds from the Centre.

The minister said that while other Agency areas in the State were having one or the other complaints with regard to health, the Rampachodavaram was not having any epidemic or major viral diseases. He mentioned the precautionary measures taken by the health department. He asked to take more precautions in remote areas.

Regarding education, the Minister said that the Government had increased the number of clothes giving to tribal students from two pairs to four pairs from this year and decided to increase cosmetic charges from Rs. 20 to Rs. 50.

The Minister was serious at the slow pace of engineering works in Agency. He asked the officials to complete school, hostel and other buildings within time frame.

The Minister laid the foundation for Bornagudem tribal boys’ hostel.
