3 of a family killed in accident

Kozhikode: N. Subramanian, Senior Regional Manager, Punjab National Bank (PNB), Kozhikode, his wife and a son were killed in a road accident near Pollachi on Monday night, the bank’s zonal office said here on Tuesday.

Subramanian (53), his wife, Mala Subramanian (47), and son, Kaushik Rajagopalan (18), a first year student at BITS-Pilani, were killed when the car in which they were travelling went out of control and crashed onto a wayside tree.

Subramanian’s sister, Geetha (48), and driver Thulasi (48), who were seriously injured were admitted in KG Hospital in Coimbatore.
