Oxygen Pharma in last four

KOCHI: Oxygen Pharma (Thrissur) defeated Evergreen (Malappuram) 5-3 via the tiebreaker, and entered the semifinals of the third P.M. Sayeed Trophy all-Kerala registered sevens football tournament at the Fort Kochi Veli Ground on Tuesday night.

The teams were level 2-2 at the end of the regulation period with Oxygen’s Chicku and Topad and Evergreen’s Shiraz (two in a two-minute spell) scoring the goals. The game turned rough in the second session and two Oxygen players and one from Evergreen were given the marching orders.
