MoU for international cooperation

MoU will cover research collaboration in agricultural science and exchange of students and staff


COIMBATORE: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Adelaide, Australia, for increased international cooperation between the two universities.

The MoU that was signed in Australia recently will establish a framework covering research collaboration in agricultural science, exchange of students and staff, participation in seminars and academic meeting, joint quality assurance and benchmarking. R. Chandra Babu, Dean, School of Post-Graduate Studies, TNAU, who signed the MoU on behalf of the university, said that it would welcome visiting faculty or research fellows from the Australian university for faculty development programmes and also for joint research interests.

He said that tie-ups for future joint degrees and research projects would also be considered with the research-intensive university.
