‘Improve quality’
Bangalore: Principal Secretary (Agriculture) A. Ramaswamy on Tuesday told the office-bearers and members of the
Institution of
Agricultural
Technologists to suggest steps to improve the quality of agricultural activities and the
socio-economi
c condition of the
farmers in the State.
Inaugurating
the foundation day celebrations of the institution here, Mr. Ramaswamy
said the suggestions
would be implemented. He also promised that the Government was ready to help the institution.
H.R. Kantharaju, former Director of Animal Husbandry, was
felicitated with the
Dr. M. Puttarudraiah Memorial Endowment National Award
for his outstanding contribution to the institution.
