BIJAPUR: A couple was electrocuted in PM-Budni village in Mudhol taluk of Bagalkot district on Monday. The police gave the names of the dead as Mahadev Raddaratti and Sushilavva Raddaratti. Police said a high-tension wire fell on them while they were working in their fields. While both of them died on the spot, one of their daughters escaped with minor injuries. The former Minister Govind Karjol, tahsildar Basavaraj Somannavar and DSP Chandrashekhar Kyatan called on the family members of the victims.
