S.S. Shiraguppi passes away

HAVERI: S.S. Shiraguppi (55), three-time Haveri Town Municipality council member and the first person from the district to register for donating his body, passed away on Wednesday at his residence here after a brief spell of illness. He is survived by wife, a son and a daughter.

Dr. Shiraguppi had donated his body to the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Hospital in Hubli, and according to his wish, the family members allowed the hospital authorities to take away the body after performing some rituals.
