PUDUCHERRY: Domestic servants on Wednesday took out a rally from the Old Bus Stand to highlight their long-pending demand to consider them as unorganised workers. They also staged a demonstration near the Assembly. Vice-president of Pondicherry Domestic Servants’ Association V. Sumanthi said they had taken up the issue two years ago with the Minister for Labour. The government had failed to include the domestic servants in the unorganised workers list, she said.
