Stay extended
BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday extended the stay it had granted earlier against proceedings initiated by a lower court in Belgaum against the former Chief Minister and BJP leader B.S. Yeddyurappa. The lower court had ordered issue of summons (process) following a complaint by Congress leader Shankar Munavalli, who had alleged that Mr. Yeddyurappa had made defamatory case against him. When the matter came up on Wednesday, Justice Subash B. Adi extended the stay and adjourned further hearing on the case. — Staff Reporter
