ICDS workshop

ADILABAD: Addressing the ICDS IV workshop District Collector Ahmad Nadeem on Wednesday asked officials of Indira Kranti Patham, auxiliary nurses and matrons and anganwadi workers to collectively take up the task of providing nutrition to children. He said they should motivate people to make use of the efforts made by the Women and Child Development Department in control of infant mortality.At a workshop to prepare of ICDS IV programme, the Collector said the efforts of the officials involved in improvement of health of children and women This should include awareness on use of iodised salt and nutritious food. He also wanted the officials to make efforts in preparing children between the age group of 3 to 6 years for primary school education.

Project Director of the District WCD V. Ramulu, Child Development Project Officers and others attended the workshop.
