Varun gets contracts from Essar, ONGC

CHENNAI: Varun Industries, an exporter of stainless steel utility items, has won a contract of more than Rs. 50 crore from Essar Oil to drill three ultra deep exploratory wells in ‘L’ Block of Sittwe region of Myanmar. It will also operate one ONGC owned rig at Ankleshwar in Gujarat as operation and maintenance contractor from this month, says a release.
