No stopping ND Heroes
NEW DELHI: A goal each from Gyan and Harvinder Singh powered New Delhi Heroes to its fifth successive victory, a 2-0 triumph over former champion Mughal Sports Club, in group ’B’ of the SAIL-ONGC DSA senior division football league at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Wednesday.
While New Delhi Heroes has taken its tally to 15 points from five matches, Mughals completed its engagements by tasting its sixth successive defeat.
In another match, Shastri Club came from behind to hold newly promoted Bangadarshan Club 1-1.
Rahul Thapliyal had put Bangadarshan ahead in the 48th minute, but Hari equalised for Shastri in the 65th minute.
Bangadarshan completed its engagements with two points from six matches, while Shastri has seven points from five matches.
