Bishop Moore dethrones Iqbal

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Bishop Moore College, Mavelikkara dethroned defending champion Iqbal College, Peringammala 5-3 to win the Kerala University inter-collegiate men’s softball championship at the Medical College ground on Wednesday.

St. Xavier’s College, Thumba overcame Government Arts College Thiruvananthapuram 3-2 to finish third.

LNCPE, Kariyavattom retained the title in the women’s section with a 7-3 win over MMSS College, Kottiyam.

Bishop Moore College, Mavelikkara defeated NSS College, Pandalam 4-3 to finish third.
