Take remedial steps
Traffic is always blocked by APSRTC buses that enter and leave bus stations at Maddilapalem, Dwarakanagar and Simhachalam due to narrow passages.
They block the entire road while taking a turn. This should be avoided and remedial measures should be taken.

Think of pedestrians
The large presence of pedestrian traffic should be recognised by the authorities.
They should be given space on the roadside by removing trees and encroachments.
Walk signals should be set up at important junctions in the city and people should be educated about the traffic issues.

Enforce rules
Traffic police on duty should enforce the rules strictly, instead of being spectators to deliberate traffic violations, which is one of the main reasons for the scant respect shown towards them. People should be made aware of their responsibility and develop civic sense failing which Vizag will become another nightmare city.
