HYDERABAD: The city police have announced that traffic movement would be restricted on some routes from 8 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. on Friday in connection with Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) prayers at Mir Alam tank Idgah and Secunderabad Idgah. Vehicle movement would be only uni-directional from Puranapul and Bahadurpura police station towards Mir Alam tank Idgah from 8.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. Vehicles coming from Shivarampally and National Police Academy to Bahadurpura would be diverted at Danamma huts ‘T’ junction towards Enginebowli. Cycle rickshaws and bi-cycles would not be allowed to go to the Idgah from the Idgah crossroads. Cars, RTC and other vehicles ferrying devotees would not be allowed to enter the Idgah via Mir Alam filter bed ‘T’ junction. After the prayers, all fast moving vehicles carrying devotees would be diverted via Tadbun road, Boys Town school, Shamsheergunj new road, Aliabad road and Charminar. At Secunderabad, all vehicles would go straight from the Idgah crossroads via Balamrai and proceed to the Idgah from the Balamrai road ‘T’ junction.
