Free computer training

THANJAVUR: Rotary Club of Thanjavur South has taken up a project to provide free computer training to students of Guild of Service and municipal schools for this year. The training programme was inaugurated by the Rotary district governor, S. Arulmozhiselvan, here recently. The training will be provided by IT Kids.

According to Ezhil Manimaran, its administrator, 200 children will be trained in a year. He distributed sports equipment donated by S.Prabhu, a club member, to girl students Guild of Service.

He also distributed free uniforms to 66 students of Suryampatti, a village adopted by the club. Club president Muthuramalingam and secretary N. Manimaran, were present.
