“Some blue cars short-listed”
NEW DELHI: The Delhi police on Wednesday claimed to have short-listed some cars in connection with the hit-and-run case in which four persons, including two Delhi Police personnel, were injured in Lodhi Colony here over the weekend.
“Based on parts of the car found at the accident site, we have tried to ascertain the year of its manufacture. Since there are a large number of Maruti Esteem cars registered in the Capital, investigations are being conducted in a scientific manner and some vehicles have been short-listed,” said a senior police officer.
The police had found parts of a broken dark blue bumper, fog lights, side mirrors and beading at the accident site.
