‘Sarige adalat’

SIRSI: A “sarige adalat” was held at Sirsi Taluk Panchayat hall on Wednesday. Taluk Panchayat president Chandrakala Gowda was present. About 50 people, who participated in the adalat, took the NWKRTC officials to task for not plying buses in rural areas on time and against lack of discipline among drivers and conductors. They also complained against lack of amenities in bus-stands. The officials promised that the problems raised by the people would be set right in 15 days. – Correspondent
