ANANTAPUR: Minister for Agriculture N. Raghuveera Reddy on Thursday said the bankers-served by eight branches of different banks in the district- agreed to pay about Rs. 5 crore to the farmers, who suffered huge crop loss during the kharif 2006 but did not receive proportionate insurance claims. The amount would be credited to the farmers’ accounts. –Staff Reporter
