Trek to Everest base camp flagged off

NEW DELHI: The Chairman and Managing Director of Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation, Sanat Kaul, flagged off a two-week trek to the Everest base camp on Thursday.

The expedition comprising 15 members will be led by an experienced mountaineer, Vikram Paul, while Kasturba Hospital Deputy Medical Superintendent Alok Pradhan will be the team doctor.

The trek has been organised to inculcate a spirit of adventure among DTTDC employees.
