Maoists produced in court

THENI: Two suspected Maoists, Balamurugan of Sellur in Madurai district and Sachin alias Yogesh of Chattisgarh, were produced before the Judicial Magistrate Court in Andipatti here on Thursday.

Judicial Magistrate Sundaraiah remanded them to custody till January 3. While Balamurugan would be lodged in the Madurai prison, Yogesh was sent to the Pudukottai jail. — Staff Reporter
