Two thermal power stations renamed

HYDERABAD: The State government has issued a notification re-naming Vijayawada Thermal Power Station (VTPS) at Kondapalli as Dr. Narla Tata Rao Thermal Power Station and the 1,600 MW thermal power project proposed to be set up in Nelatur, Krishnapatnam in Nellore district as Sri Damodaram Sanjeevaiah Thermal Power Station. —Special Correspondent
