Want new dates: SFI members staging a protest outside the KEA in Bangalore on Thursday.

Bangalore: “Our demands have not changed. We want the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) to reschedule the Common Entrance Test 2008,” said Prakash, president of Bangalore city unit of the Students’ Federation of India.

More than 500 students from different colleges in the city staged a protest in front of the KEA office on Thursday.

The SFI wanted the KEA to space out the CET.

According to the schedule, all papers of the CET 2008 will be held on the same day (April 19). The Kannada language tests for Gadinadu and Horanadu candidates will be held on April 20 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Mr. Prasad said that SFI activists met with the Governor’s adviser and submitted a memorandum in this regard. “We want the KEA authorities to reschedule the CET and conduct it on two days. Else, we will continue with our State-wide agitation,” he added.
