SCR to run special trains

Special Correspondent.

HYDERABAD: The South Central Railway will introduce a first class air-conditioned coach in train No. 2710/2709 Secunderabad-Gudur-Secunderabad Simhapuri Express from Friday, an official release said.

Also, SCR will run specials connecting Kakinada Town and Vijayawada to Secunderabad to clear the extra rush during the festival season.

Train no. 701-A will leave Kakinada Town at 7.30 p.m. on Sundays, December 23 and 30, January 6, 13 and 20 to reach Secunderabad at 8 p.m. the next day.

En route, it will stop at Samalkot, Anaparti, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal and Kazipet.

Train no. 700-A will leave here at 10 a.m. on Mondays, December 24 and 31, January 7,14 and 21 to reach Vijayawada at 4 p.m. the same day. En route, it will stop at Kazipet, Warangal and Khammam.
