Rain hits life in Kolar

KOLAR: The change in weather owing to formation of trough of a low pressure in the Bay of Bengal had badly affected people of Kolar and Chickballapur districts.

Even as the residents were suffering from biting cold, the cyclonic effect has brought untimely rain throwing life out of gear in the last two days. The drizzle that started on Tuesday continued on Thursday.

As it is raining continuously, students going to school are finding it difficult to tread the water clogged streets in different parts of the district, including Kolar.

Some schools in Kolar Gold Fields area declared a holiday on Wednesday.
