Disabled Day celebrated

The district Disabled Welfare Department celebrated International Day of the Disabled in the city on Thursday.

GVMC Additional Commissioner Pola Bhaskar participated and highlighted the various concessions and facilities provided by the government in educational, social and employment sectors to them.

He also distributed prizes to winners of various competitions organised by the NGOs and government agencies, and three-wheeler cycles to physically challenged persons.
