Inflation rate eases to 3.65 p.c.

NEW DELHI: The inflation rate based on the Wholesale Price Index eased to 3.65 per cent for the week ended December 8, from 3.75 per cent in the previous week earlier, mainly owing to a fall in the prices of food articles such as fruits and vegetables, pulses and certain manufactured items.

During the week, prices of fruits and vegetables eased by one per cent.
