Judicial probe sought

Kochi: The Ernakulam Siva Temple Raksha Samithi (protection committee) on Friday demanded a judicial inquiry into allegations of corruption against the Ernakulam Kshetra Kshema Samithi (temple welfare committee).

At a press conference, S. Balan, secretary, and other office-bearers of the protection committee, alleged that the welfare committee had alienated land of the temple. They alleged that stock registers on collection of fund for buying the Ernakulathappan ground had not been maintained. — Special Correspondent
