Sirsi: The two-day “Havyaka woman world convention” will be held at Sirsi T.S.S. Kalyan Mantap from Sunday under the auspices of Havyaka Welfare Trust, Mumbai.

The convention will be inaugurated at 9.30 a.m. by freedom fighter Bhageerati Narayan Shastri of Kulibeedu in the presence of Raghaveshwara Bharathi Swamiji of Sri Ramachandrapura Math. Yashoda Bhat of Dharwad will preside over the function.

On Monday, seminars on topics such as “Havyaka women and industries” and “agriculture and cotton industries” will be held.
