Kochi: The Lawyers’ Action Council formed following the arrest of an advocate at Chittur in Palakkad has urged the investigation committee to expedite its proceedings. The representative of the action council met committee chairman K. Balakrishnan Nair, High Court judge, and held discussions with him. The case related to the arrest of a High Court lawyer for the escape of an accused he represented. The arrest was ordered by a magistrate at Chittur. — Special Correspondent
