Four killed in road accident
VIJAYAWADA: Four persons, including three of a family, died on the spot when the car in which they were travelling was hit by a lorry near Vissannapet, about 70 km from here, on Friday morning.
The victims were identified as Tankasala Rambabu, son of Tankasala Subba Rao, who is proprietor of Tankasala Kalyana Mandapam at Enikepadu near here, Rambabu’s cousins Yerramseti Narendra and Yerramsetti Seetaiah, their close friend Pulapaka Babu Rao, who is proprietor of a poultry farm.
All of them were in the age group of 30-35 years. The accident occurred when all the four were on their way to Vissannapet from Enikepadu in a car being driven by Rambabu.
When the car reached Kondaparvu crossroad , a lorry coming in the opposite direction hit it, killing them on the spot.
